Work is very poorly delegated and if you show your a good worker they give you the tasks of the people who aren't. If it's not for the experienced workers nothing in the store would run right mgmt just run around yelling things and half of them don't even make sense or aren't possible to get done. However, the "game" is easy if you're just friendly and reliable. It's a "don't hate the player hate the game" kind of situation. Very important thing at this company is to be a good judge of management because while most of mine have been great people, every company has its person that shouldn't have the position they do. Just be generally good at your job, friendly, and reliable and you will move up fairly fast especially if you vocalize that you're interested.
